At Barumun Nagari Wildlife Sanctuary, in addition to doing projects for elephants, we also have projects for other animals that are rescued by the government such as gibbons, tigers, and birds. The animals are rescued from many things such as wildlife trade, poaching, conflict with humans, etc. So they are rescued to be rehabilitated again.
During the rehabilitation period, the animals are given enough food, intensive care and training its wild nature again. And in the end, if possible to be released, it will be released back to its habitat.
